Creative Caffeine
Thursday, May 28, 2009 @ 9:13 pm by Josh Burcham

Creativity stretches the mind and that it always a good thing. I picked up a book, Caffeine for the Creative Mind, a couple of months ago to help get creative juices flowing. It is filled with 250 exercises that get the creative side of your brain running.
The first task, An ‘E’ Ticket Ride:
Face It: Adults like amusement park rides, too. Actually, they love them as much as kids do. Something about the thrill of a roller coaster or the enchantment of a ride themed after childhood’s favorite stories. Your task today is to create just such a ride. You’re going to create a theme park ride wrapped around your favorite fast food chain. Now that is a theme! Consider the food items, the store design, graphic elements that are used and marketing themes. Create a ride that proudly expresses that fast-food joint’s true value. Hold the mayo please.
Now get to it. Draw out your ride design. Scan it or take a picture of it and post it here. Would love to see what you come up with. I’ll post my in a bit.

A comment went missing when I was trying to fix the code on this comment code and I can’t figure it out. But whatever. And I can’t find a solid plug-in that doesn’t open up my blog to hacking.
So post a link to your exercise.
But Here is my Jack Attack ride: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3598/3589613065_e5b0281bb6.jpg?v=0
