6-Win Streak!
Wednesday, January 27, 2010 @ 8:30 pm by Josh Burcham
Nothing better than your team winning and winning a lot is really good. Sorry to all the Dallas fans out there, but below is a new feature on Hulu of condensed NHL games.
We’re going deep into the Playoffs and I’m predicting now…the west wins the cup this year.

Are you a Guerrilla Lover?
Monday, January 25, 2010 @ 6:33 pm by Josh Burcham
I’m a fan of Vince and love his heart for the Gospel. I’ve been trying to get a team together to head up to Vegas to help with his new church plant to serve the thousands of people working on and around the Strip. But kept having a tough time finding those willing to serve. His first book, I Became a Christian and All I Got was a Lousy T-Shirt, is one of my top three I recommend to people on the journey for heart change as they seek to be a true Christ-follower. I was a great tool that God used in my life for my heart change.
Vince has written another, Guerrilla Love. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to snag an advance copy of the book, but I’m still excited to get my hands on it and see that tool that it can become in the lives of Believers as they learn to love people, as they love God.
This book has it down. We are here to love God and love people. And to love people in a way that is relentless. Not in a bad way, but in a way that forces them to take a step back and ask the question, why? We want to love people in a way that compassionate and selfless. We want to love the way Jesus loved and ask them to follow Him with you. We want people to meet Jesus and I’m praying that this is a tool that helps accomplish that!
Buy the book! Email me if you want to serve on a missions team to Vegas in the beginning of April.

My Book Recommendations
Wednesday, January 20, 2010 @ 8:00 pm by Josh Burcham
I have a lot of books, not a ton of books, but a lot. Majority of them I have read and the ones that God used to speak into my life as I journeyed to become a Christ-follower, loving God and loving people, I bought multiple copies. Here is that list of books:
Hopefully the recommendations help. If you could only buy one book, buy Crazy Love by Francis. If you could buy two, buy Crazy Love and In a Pit with a Lion by Mark Batterson. Antonucci is a funny guy with an amazing story of heart change as well. Enjoy the list!

Colorado 6 – Edmonton 0
Monday, January 18, 2010 @ 11:06 pm by Josh Burcham
It’s a win! It has been nice to have a winning season and fighting for first and not last! And for some sugar on top the Detroit Red Wings are having a horrible system. Not sure if I am more excited over the Avs winning season or the wings crappy season. Colorado took a nice shutout of the Oliers, 6-0. Granted the Oliers are in last place in the west, but a win is a win and we need to keep Calgary behind us.
Unfortunately the above is a picture from last years season was pretty constant, so it has been a nice change of pace. We still aren’t back to our old glory days, of Roy, Sakic and Forsberg and Anderson still has some rough nights, but we are moving in the right direction.
FYI to all, Winter Olympics are right around the corner. Let’s go USA!

I Was Bored
Monday, January 18, 2010 @ 10:33 pm by Josh Burcham
I have an issue of having to look at the same thing over and over again and decided to change things up on the blog. First of my own sites that I created from a completely blank canvas, it was a little rocky at first with some new features, but turn out well.
Moving the blog from a personal site to a site to display my portfolio, creating some more additional income for a future project, that we can talk about more in a couple of months. Don’t worry, my blog still lives here and I’ll still post as I always have. Know of any churches that need a website re-design, branding or print project. I don’t work exclusively with churches, but my heart is there to help at a low price to better the Church to help people meet Jesus. Shoot me an email, if you have any leads. If you’re a church and want to talk about your needs, submit your info for a quote.
The site is still in progress, since I’m never happy with status quo. Enjoy the new features and watch for up coming changes and announcements. It’s been a long time since my last real post, so help get the word out and let them new about the new web address: www.joshburcham.com.
